DeAnna has always had an interest in physical fitness and was motivated mostly by fitness activities that were fun as well as productive. She spent time walking, biking, hiking, rollerblading and doing toning exercises which were effective and productive in building muscle and staying lean. She also studied many books about forms of exercise, diet and wellness.

In 1999 DeAnna found the Pilates Method which fit perfectly into her new found love of organic foods and holistic life style. Now inspired by the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning she began her certification training in 1999 and became a certified mat instructor in 2000 and completed all certification processes for teaching on the reformer, cadillac, chair and barrel. She has been teaching now for 7 years and loves every minute of it!

Mary Jane Devine is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, and is registered with the National Yoga Alliance. Her teaching style is fun, calming, and informative.  Mary Jane teaches about the power of breath and the connection between breath and movement. Her classes leave you feeling balanced and renewed by linking poses in a flowing series to develop strength and flexibility for EVERY body. All levels are welcome to the multilevel classes!

In addition to teaching yoga for six years, Mary Jane is a teacher for the Bloomington School District. She lives with her husband and has two grown children.

Melissa Culloton is YogaFit certified and has taught yoga for five years. She has certification through YogaFit in levels I, II and III, senior yoga and pre-natal/post-partum. She has taught classes for Minneapolis Park and Recreation, Minnehaha Yoga Studio, The Movement Arts Center and currently teaches for Bloomington Community Education. She has been practicing yoga for 7 years. By daytime Melissa is a professional singer and teaches a private voice studio.

She lives in South Minneapolis with her husband Matt and their beagle Charlie.

Like many people who find yoga, Mindy came to the practice to find relief from pain. While physical activities and athletics have always been a part of Mindy’s life, she had no idea what the yoga practice would hold for her. Finding a practice that nurtured her body, spirit and mind, she realized becoming a teacher would be the best way to share the healing through yoga. “My path led me to the Green Lotus Teacher Training program, which takes great care at instructing the foundations of teaching. When I guide students in a practice, my hope is that they listen and learn from the lessons unfolding on the mat.”

Mindy has taught Gentle and Hatha classes and looks forward to sharing her love of yoga, but truly enjoys being a student herself. In addition to the RYT 200 – Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hours with the Yoga Alliance, Mindy has participated in various workshops in body dynamics, acupuncture, Reiki and exploration of the different styles of yoga.
